Renee Black, the owner of Reneescreatives, discovered her passion for jewelry making over 15 years ago during a visit with her youngest sister in Denver, CO. She began by creating jewelry for herself and her family, while honing her skills through online courses in jewelry design from institutions like the New York Art Institute and Design.

As her skills grew, Renee started participating in craft shows and even secured a consignment spot at a local shop specializing in hair care products. When the pandemic emerged, she began exploring the possibility of selling her creations online. Among the various jewelry-making techniques she experimented with, such as wire wrapping, stringing, and macramé, bead weaving captured her heart. Renee draws inspiration from African and geometric art forms, incorporating these elements into her designs. She encourages customers to use their imagination to personalize her creations for their own enjoyment.
